Forest management aims to improve the conditions for development, biodiversity and connectivity of natural ecosystems. Werner Madeiras maintains an area of 1,200,000 m² for environmental protection and conservation, adopting practices for responsible management of water resources and native species of the region.

The management of raw materials is based on the circular economy model. At Werner Madeiras, every tree harvested is used in its entirety. The logs are used to produce lumber. The waste generated during the manufacturing process is transformed into renewable energy, resulting in the total use of natural resources.

With a view to the sustainability of its operations, Werner Madeiras promotes a policy of reducing the use of paper, reusing materials and consciously using resources in all internal areas of the company. It also has a selective waste collection program, in accordance with current regulations and legislation.
